Merseyside fire crews host charity car wash today

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service firefighters and staff will be hosting a series of car washes in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity this Saturday, March 16.

There will be 11 car washes being held at community fire stations and nearby locations across Merseyside throughout the day and a further two events later this month.

Firefighters from all fire stations on Merseyside will be taking part in the events and drivers are invited to bring their families along to meet crews while having their cars cleaned for charity.

They will take place at Heswall, Wallasey, Upton, Old Swan, Bootle & Netherton, City Centre, Formby, Eccleston and St Helens,community fire stations on the day.
