Van fire closes M53 slip road at Woodchurch

A fire in a van forced the closure of one lane and the entry slip road to the M53 northbound at Junction 3, A552, at Woodchurch.
Matrix signs are set to 50 mph.
The vehicle was on fire on the entry slip road, but lane one was closed towards the Mersey Tunnels for safety.
The entry slip road has also been closed since 12.10pm but lane one is now open.
The driver of the van was not injured.
