Staff threatened during robbery at Wirral shop

POLICE are hunting a gang who threatened staff during a robbery at a Wirral shop earlier this week.
Officers were called to The Spar on Irby Road at 9.45pm on Monday, following reports that four men had threatened staff and escaped with a quantity of cigarettes, mainly Lambert and Butler, and some cash.
While no weapons were seen and nobody was injured, the staff were very shaken up due to the incident.
Three of the men are white, in their 20s, wearing black clothing and all had their faces covered.
The fourth man is white, in his 50s with a stocky build, short greyish hair. He was wearing a flat cap, green cotton jacket, beige trousers and had his face covered with a green and beige scarf.
Police have released CCTV footage showing a man they want to speak to in relation to the incident.
