Police are alerting the public to be cautious after a bag containing ampules of liquid adrenaline were stolen from a parked car in Birkenhead.

They say that if all the stolen medication was taken, it could prove fatal.

Eight to ten ampules of the powerful stimulant were stolen between 7.30pm and 11pm last night, Thursday, March 7, from a vehicle in Valerian Road.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

If you find the medication, call Merseyside Police on 101 or hand it in to your nearest police station or pharmacy.
