ABDULAI Bell-Baggie will be part of Tranmere Rovers' squad until June 2015 after signing a new contract this afternoon.

The 20-year-old came to Prenton Park last summer following a trial at the club and has since scored twice in 24 appearances.

He has previously played for Reading, Rotherham United, Port Vale, Crawley Town and Yeovil Town.

Bell-Baggie is the fifth player to sign for Rovers until June 2015 with Max Power, Cole Stockton, Jake Kirby and Danny Holmes also committing themselves to the Club.

Ronnie Moore said: "Abs has done very well for us this season. He's an exciting player and one who is capable of winning matches for us.

"When he's on top of his game he’s a nightmare for defenders and he’s given quite a few full backs headaches this season.

"He's got a great attitude and has fitted in well with the rest of the squad and I'm delighted he’ll be here for the next two seasons."

Bell-Baggie will be available for Saturday's home game against Oldham Athletic, kick-off 3pm.
