A BEST-selling Wirral author's new book aims to prove there are "no bounds" to better communication.

The "Snowball Effect – Communications", by Andy Bounds, is out today and has been described by entrepreneur and former BBC "Dragon" James Caan as a "toolbox of powerful communication techniques."

Andy, from West Kirby, is a communications consultant and conference speaker.

The father-of-four’s previous book – "The Jelly Effect: How to Make Your Communication Stick" – reached number two in the Amazon best-sellers list in 2010, losing out on the top spot to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

A former chartered accountant, Andy launched his communications company Andy Bounds Ltd with wife Emma in 2004 and has worked with hundreds of top-level executives at prestigious businesses and organisations such as RBS and Barclays banks, Microsoft, Virgin and Baker Tilly.

He said: "The aim of The Snowball Effect is to help people to permanently improve how they communicate.

"After all, great communicators are more successful, get more done and enjoy their jobs more.

"The problem is that not everyone can communicate well; and it can be hard to change a mind-set and communications style which has been developed over many years.

The Snowball Effect, published by Capstone, is available online at www.amazon.co.uk, high street book shops and WH Smith travel stores across the UK.

"Toolbox" eh?

File away under 'further business newspeak, jargonese, bluster and window-dressing'.

Presumably lots of Americans will come flocking.
