'Bright spark' Lisa in line for construction award

BRIGHT spark Lisa Hilton is in line for special recognition in this year's Women in Construction Awards.
Lisa, an apprentice in her second year with Wirral Partnership Homes has been shortlisted in the best apprentice under 25 category.
The awards showcase the brightest and best female achievements in the construction industry.
A mother of one from Wallasey Lisa, 24, has a degree in psychology and in her spare time she has become an apprentice ambassador, attending job fairs and local schools to advise young women and school leavers on the importance and value of apprenticeships.
Wirral Partnership Homes has been shortlisted for is the Employer of the Year category in the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Awards which recognises employers who best support the region’s apprentices.
WPH has pledged that every £1m spent on the development programme will result in at least one local job or apprenticeship.
