Tranmere Rovers face Shrewsbury Town in League One tonight
THE television cameras will be turned on Prenton Park tonight when Tranmere Rovers face Shrewsbury Town in League One.
Starting at 7.45pm and broadcast live on ITV2, the match comes a week after Ronnie Moore's squad were beaten 2-1 by Leyton Orient at the Matchroom Stadium.
Rovers are now in third place in League 1, two points behind leaders Bournemouth.
Moore fears his side have got the jitters during last weekend's game and hoped they will be more confident tonight.
He said earlier this week: "We're on TV, so whoever the 11 are who play on Friday, they have to prove we’re a match for anyone in this league.
"There are still 15 games left until the end of the season - if we’re having wobbles now, then we're in trouble. We've got to have men on the pitch."
Moore hopes to have midfielder Andy Robinson and striker Adam McGurk available tonight.
The pair picked up knocks at Leyton Orient last weekend but Moore says he expects them to recover in time for the televised fixture.
Striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro is serving the second game of a three match ban and James Wallace is unavailable due to a knee injury.
Shrewsbury come to Prenton Park in 19th place in the division, four points above the bottom four. On their travels in 2012-13 they have won two, drawn six and lost eight.
Graham Turner has added Sheffield United striker Chris Porter to his squad on loan and Marvin Morgan could return from injury. However, Jon Taylor looks set to miss out with a groin problem.
