COMMUTERS faced traffic chaos following two separate collisions at Kingsway Wallasey Tunnel this morning.
There are long delays and a contraflow system is in place from toll booths to A59 Scotland Road in Liverpool City Centre.
The Liverpool-bound tube is now closed completely, and traffic is running both ways in the other one.
The incidents happened at a round 8.30am both inside the tunnel and near the entrance.
A Merseytravel spokeswoman said traffic is now starting to move.
