A man has been charged with offences including dangerous driving and drink driving after a serious collision on the M23 last August..
Dax Wharf, 22, unemployed and from Laleham Road, Shepperton in Middlesex, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance and drink driving. He will appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 14.
A Sussex Police spokesman said emergency services were called to a serious collision on the southbound carriageway of the M23, just south of the Gatwick junction, which happened at 4.12am on Sunday August 26.
The collision involved a silver Mercedes C220 saloon car, a green Honda Accord saloon and a silver Renault Megane.
A 40-year old Slough man, who was the sole occupant of the Renault, was seriously injured. A man and a woman in the Honda, both from Crawley, were also injured, one seriously and one slightly.
