ARMED robbers raided a Wirral betting shop and threatened workers with crowbars.
The incident happened at around 7.45pm on Monday at Ladbrokes in Bebington Road, New Ferry when two men stole cash from the till.
No-one was injured during the robbery but a customer was left "shaken".

"The offenders are believed to have fled on foot in the direction of Port Sunlight."
The first man was white, aged in his 20s, around 5ft 5ins tall and medium build. He was wearing a black coat with the hood up and grey tracksuit bottoms.
The second was also white and aged in his 20s, around 6ft tall and medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured top with a white stripe across the chest and dark-coloured tracksuit bottoms.

What I would love to know is what Ladbrokes are doing about this as all these betting shops all seem to have lone workers and surely that is putting people under increased risks!
