Man treated after loft fire in Wirral house

A MAN was treated by paramedics following a fire in the loft of a house in Prenton this morning.
Firefighters were called to an address in Woodchurch Road at around 9.35am.
Large quantities of loft insulation were removed by crews to check for fire spread.
The 59-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
Two fire appliances from Birkenhead and Upton community fire stations attended and firefighters were there for around an hour.
