Blazing row between councillor and candidate revealed on Twitter

A BLAZING row between a Wirral councillor and a Labour candidate has erupted on social networking site Twitter.
The bust-up between Tory councillor Chris Blakeley and local actress Pauline Daniels came in the wake of the borough’s by-elections last night.
Ms Daniels missed out on a seat in the town hall for Leasowe and Moreton East to former ward councillor Ian Lewis.
However it's clear no love has been lost between Ms Daniels and Cllr Blakeley as they engaged in a heated online row.
Following the comedienne’s personal thank-you to her election agent Daniel Hughes, Cllr Blakeley said the final result was down to Ian Lewis being “too strong a person with so many positive thing to say.”
But Ms Daniels tweeted back that Cllr Lewis “denied his own party,” saying: “He's like Marmite there's a lot of hatred for him, some you win.”
Defending his political colleague, Cllr Blakeley jumped in: “Hatred? look in the mirror. More people know and like him than ever you would know.”
Ms Daniels then hit back, referring to a Christmas light switch-on she once took part in in Moreton: “You're a nasty little man never said that when I switched on your lights and never charged appearance money as others would.”
Councillor Blakeley replied: “Yeh we all make mistakes...One I will never make again, you are well suited to Wirral Labour.”
Ms Daniels warned him: “Sadly you don't have the b***** to say that to my face - hope you never need anyone in my business.”

Brilliant result in Heswall, twice the money, twice the crap, double no earthly use to man nor beast, all into the same household, could only happen happen to the Tories. Total waste of Votes.
When are we going to get some real peoples representatives working for the local population and not some Political Party pre ordained con system.

Will Ian Lewis reveal the honest truth to the population of Wirral just why Senior Management were allowed to dodge any accountability and walk away with substantial pay offs.
Will Ian Lewis stand up and warn all other Councillors from whatever Political Party that he will make public the decisions that are taking place and have taken place that bring Disgrace and Scandal to Wirral Borough Council.
Or will Ian Lewis just roll over and follow the Conservative Party Line, like the rest of his colleagues.

What the Labour Party lacks above all else right now is integrity, and whether the truth of this exchange is being reported or not she still needs to rise above the temptation to indulge in slanging matches with Bufton Tufton's foot soldiers.

I have lived in Leasowe for near on 7 years, and can honestly say that with Ian Lewis party politics does not come into it, our Labour Councillors have not lifted a finger yet Ian listens to the needs of his constituents, we asked for parks for our kids and he got them, we asked for community allotments, and he got them, we asked for more street lighting and guess what? we got them, Ian belongs to the tories yes does that mean he tows the parties line? no he does what is asked for him by the people he represents.
As for Pauline Daniels the only day she appeared to the residents of Leasowe was the day before the ballot, Ian is always around as he is involved in numerous groups in Leasowe.

i had the displeasure of having to cook food for Mr Blakeley recently in a restaurant i work in. horrible man. But Ms Daniels doesnt cover herself with glory here either
As far as I know Pauline Daniels is a nice person, I have read how she is involved with TWW Tomorrows Wirral womens charity. I also read in the Globe that she did Charity work for the Mayors Charity. Wonder how much charity work Blakeley does? Does anyone know what he is paid for his Councillors role and the various outside bodies he sits on?
Not much to pick between the two major parties, perhaps time to change my vote.
