Four-car crash leads to closure of Two Mills Welsh road
A MAN was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries following a four-car collision.
The accident happened at around 10.15am today on the A550 Welsh Road at Ledsham.
The driver of a Renault Clio was taken to Aintree Hospital where his condition is serious, while two people travelling in a Ford Mondeo were rushed to the Countess of Chester Hospital with back injuries.
The A550 remained closed in the area near Two Mills traffic lights for more than five hours but has since been reopened.
Any witnesses should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 286 of January 15.
