Armed robber holds Wallasey shopworker at knifepoint
AN armed robber threatened a worker at knifepoint at a Wirral shop.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on Monday at Singhsbury’s in St Paul’s Road, Seacombe.
Police say the man stole alcohol, cigarettes and cash before fleeing the scene.
Staff were uninjured but were “very shaken,” according to officers.
A 20-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and is being questioned by police.
