Wirral country star Charlie pays special visit to fan

CHARLIE Landsborough recently paid a special visit to a nursing home in Barnston to meet fan May Clare following an invitation from her family.
May had a massive stroke in July and the Birkenhead-born country star was her idol.
She grew up with his family and has followed Charlie on his concerts. She is now a resident at Barnston Court Nursing Home.
Following Charlie’s visit, May's daughter Sharon told the Globe: "Mum was over the moon when Charlie turned up.
"When she saw Charlie her face did all the talking. We would like to thank him for making a dream come true."
Charlie said: "I didn’t know May, but I know her family and I spent a nice hour with her. She gave me a great big smile."
