COMMUTERS will face trouble getting home after a fire has caused train services to be disrupted.
The incident happened at Shore Road sub-station in Birkenhead at around 2.40pm today.
The blaze has led to electricity supply problems on the rail network and Chester and Ellesmere Port services are starting and terminating at Birkenhead Central.
New Brighton and West Kirby trains are starting and stopping at Birkenhead North.
