WIRRAL teenager Adam Lewis has dropped his not guilty plea and admitted murdering his girlfriend Hannah Windsor whose body was found at Bidston Hill in May.

Lewis, of Fairmead Road, Moreton, was to stand trial today over the killing of 17-year-old Hannah, whose body was was discovered hidden in bushes on May 19. 

A post mortem examination found she had died from multiple injuries.

Lewis, 18, changed his plea to guilty at the last minute after previously claiming manslaughter.

He also admitted two counts of sexually assaulting the Wirral Met College student - charges he had previously denied.

Lewis is expected to be sentenced tomorrow.

It is thought he had been living rough in the Bidston area in the period leading up to Hannah's death.
