A WIRRAL teenager had a taste of the showbiz world when she sat down for a chat with the stars of the latest Twilight movie.

Emily Hall, who attends Upton Hall School, was the envy of her friends and millions of teenagers across the globe as she quizzed Robert Pattinson and Taylor Launtner as part of her work with education charity FILMCLUB.

The 16-year-old spoke to the actors about their roles in the last in the vampire series, Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2, and also about how film was important to education.

Robert, known as R-Patz to fans, told Emily: “It’s important to watch good ones [films]! I’ve always thought that film is really important.

“I was really, really into film before I thought about becoming an actor. I think it’s the easiest way to inspire people to learn about other things. I started watching old films that got me way into it, into reading and eventually into a job. It’s made me interested in lots of other things.”

Earlier that day, the youngster also interviewed rising star Jeremy Irvine, from War Horse and Now Is Good about his new film – the latest big screen adaptation of Charles Dickens Great Expectations, which is released on November 30.

And she said she fulfilled one of her ambitions by meeting the stars and that it was “incredible.”

Emily, who has also interviewed Ralph Fiennes, said: “Before I interviewed Robert and Taylor, I was so nervous! Both are iconic actors who I have watched in lots of films; I would have never dreamt of meeting them both and asking them questions on behalf of many other young people.

“Although I began nervous, excitement was all I felt when interviewing them. It was my first press junket and although I didn't know what to expect, other than speaking to some of the most famous people of this generation, I felt it was more relaxed and easy going than I thought.

“Once I had begun my questions, the time flew by and I found myself wanting to carry on speaking to them! My favourite part of the interviews was getting to know them as people, rather than just assuming they are like their characters that we see on screen. The whole experience was incredible!”

Emily’s interviews with Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Jeremy Irvine will feature on the FILMCLUB website www.filmclub.org.
