Tom needs your help for charity wax

WIRRAL driving instructor Thomas Lang will undergo a hair-removal waxing over his whole body – well, most of it – for the BBC's Children In Need appeal.

The annual TV fundraiser will be broadcast on Friday, November 16, but the great waxing will begin the day before. at the hands of his wife Kathey, a beauty therapist.

On the task ahead, Kathey said: "Tom is 6ft 6in tall and has a 'fur coat.'

"But he has drawn the line at the hair on his head, his eyebrows and one or two other bits. It might be too much to do in one go."

Tom, who will be 40 a few days after his waxing ordeal, joked: "I really will be celebrating in my birthday suit!"

Tom is appealing for the public to support him. 

Sponsor forms are available at St Hildeburgh's Church, Hoylake, where he is an assistant churchwarden and Kathey is Sunday School teacher.
