Wirral hotel nominated for prestigious award
THORNTON Hall Hotel & Spa has been nominated for the 2013 World Luxury Spa Award.
It is the only Merseyside venue in the running for the accolade, which is sponsored by Singapore Airlines, Mango and France 24.
The nominations are evaluated by a selected global panel of independent spa consultants, situated amongst 141 countries.
This year is the first year that Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa has been nominated.
Roy Burkey, health club manager, said: "We are delighted that our venue has been nominated for this award and we are grateful to our club members for putting us forward. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain international recognition.
"The World Luxury Spa Awards congratulate service excellence and put the spotlight on those spas representing only the finest standards – therefore we are proud to be shortlisted.
"This nomination fires our belief that our health club and spa is one of the leading clubs in the region.
