Cameras caught hospital school burglar

A 26-YEAR-OLD man was identified from CCTV evidence after he was seen gaining entry to Wirral Hospital Schools in Park Road North, Birkenhead, and taking a bag containing property, Wirral Magistrates were told by prosecutor Michael Cain.

Philip Ormond of Deakin Street, Birkenhead admitted burglary and theft of the back and contents value £169 in January.

Mr Cain said he made no comment when interviewed after arrest but tested positive for cocaine.

Magistrates made a community order to include 12-month supervision and attending a drug rehabilitation programme. He had to pay compensation in full and £80 costs.
