Is it possible to make the programme First Dates more uncomfortable? Well, yes, actually. By peppering the show with celebs. Genius.
The celebrity special aired tonight as part of Channel 4′s programming in support of Cancer Research UK.
Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, singer Alexandra Burke, Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter and TV presenter Anthea Turner all waltzed their single selves into the First Dates restaurant hoping to be wooed. Here’s what Twitter thought.
Alexandra Burke
Alexandra was greeted by male model Louis (not jeal at all) and they seemed to hit it off straight away.
Jamie Laing
Next up was serial dater Jamie who was matched with a feisty science-junky who, suffice to say, has never watched Made in Chelsea before.
Jamie’s date discovered the reality star’s profession and Twitter couldn’t help but notice her change in mood. She suddenly….warmed to him.
He even managed to get a quick snog at the end.
Anthea Turner
Anthea was paired with Jeremy who had been to the First Dates restaurant before, but hadn’t had much success.
And turns out this dates didn’t end too well either as Anthea described him as “too well behaved”.
Jorgie Porter
Finally, adorable actress Jorgie melted everyone’s hearts with her down to earth nature on the show.
The show ended on a high as it announced that Jorgie and Craig are now dating in actual real life.
Yay! Go Jorgie!
