The trailer to the “emotionally open and honest film portrait” has been unveiled, and the film looks set to transport listeners through the band’s highs and lows from boyhood to manhood that led them back into a London studio to write a new album In A World Like This, embark on a world tour and plan their 20th anniversary relaunch.

Filmed over two years, the movie stars all the members of the pop group, who formed in Orlando, Florida in 1993 – AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell.

The Backstreet Boys will perform a live set via satellite when the film – directed by Stephen Kijak – is released in UK cinemas on February 26.

“We can’t wait to go back to the UK to treat our fans to a very special BSB performance alongside showcasing our film that we are so very proud of. We think the Brits and everyone who comes out to see it will love it!” the band said.
