KEYS, lies, deceit and double-cross are on the menu in Bebington Dramatic Society's latest production.

The group will stage Frederick Knott’s classic thriller Dial M for Murder at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight from Tuesday, June 5 to Saturday, June 9.

The open night will be in aid of Multiple Sclerosis and Wednesday, June 6 show for The St Vincent De Paul Society.

In the story, Tony Wendice has married Sheila for her money and now plans to murder her for the same reason.

He arranges the perfect murder and arranges a brilliant alibi for himself.

Unfortunately, things don't go according to plan and his scheme begins to unravel.

Keys, lies, deceit, and double cross are on the menu, and the tension mounts as Tony has to use all his wits and guile to shake off a relentless policeman.

Full of twists and turns, this classic tale of deception, passion, and betrayal is a masterpiece of writing that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

It was famously filmed in 1954 by the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock, and starred Ray Milland and Grace Kelly.
