A MUST see for all across Merseyside, Beating Berlusconi! will head to the Floral Pavilion for a special, one-off performance.
Starring acclaimed Liverpool actor Paul Duckworth, Beating Berlusconi! is partly based on the true story of cobbler Mark Radley who ended up sitting next to Silvio Berlusconi at the 2005 Champions' League Final in Istanbul after blagging his way into the AC Milan VIP suite.
But when Liverpool was three nil down, Mark set about enjoying the free salmon and champagne before the VIP suite descended into chaos.
Complete with a post-show discussion, this is the first chance to see Beating Berlusconi! in three years as the show heads to New Brighton on Sunday, May 6.
Written and produced by John Graham Davies, who has enjoyed thirty years of acting, the show is set in May 2005 and follows Kenny, a middle-aged typical scouser and massive reds fan who travels to Istanbul to watch Liverpool's clash between AC Milan in the Champions' League Final - against the wishes of his wife and bank manager.
Actor Paul takes audiences on a roller-coaster of emotions, telling the tale of one man's attempt to rediscover his belief in himself, his club and his city.
Tickets are £10 to £12.50 and are available from www.floralpavilion.com
