ROCK Ferry Operatic Society bring the stage version of classic film Annie to the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight next month.
Staged from May 17-21 and set in 1920's in New York it tells the story of orphan Annie, who is rescued from the clutches of Miss Hannigan who runs the orphanage. She goes on to stay at the mansion of Oliver Warbucks, a billionaire.
The show is produced by Sarah Jane Aston and music director Greg Williams.
Oliver Warbucks is played by Stuart Raphel, reprising the role he played with Birkenhead Operatic Society Trust at the Liverpool Empire.
Grace Farrell is played by Kate Yates, who played the role of Anna in Rock Ferry's production of The King and I.
The supporting cast features Wendy Copeland-Blair as Miss Hannigan, Stuart Clay as Rooster and Katie Peers as Lily St. Regis.
Sharing the role of Annies will be Lily Peers and Niamh Lester.
Tickets for the production are from www.gladstonetheatre.org.uk or the box office on 0151 643 8757
