A BENEFIT concert for victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster will be staged at the Cavern Club in Mathew Street, Liverpool, next Friday, January 29.
Among the musicians taking part so far are Brian Nash from '80s band Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Nigel Clarke, Ian Prowse, Alun Parry, Darren Poyzer & Clare "Fluff" Smith. Compere for the evening will be comic Frank Sidebottom.
The gig starts at 8pm. Tickets, £10, are available through TicketWeb via www.love-haiti.org and all proceeds will go to Plan International UK www.plan-uk.org who already have people working hard in the affected region.
As well as music, there will also be an auction on the night, with prizes donated from Liverpool Football Club and autographed merchandise from musicians.
