Recent ComScore results show the newly formed Newsquest-CareerBuilder jobs network as having shown significant growth throughout the first quarter of 2011 and having increased from 5th in the UK market to 3rd.

Further information now underlines the low degree of cross-over of users between CareerBuilder and our job board rivals, highlighting the additional reach offered by our custom network.

This is largely due to the additional "passive" jobseeker audience our network attracts over the solely "active" audience that is attracted by destinatiuon sites such as Monster and TotalJobs.

That is to say that while the main CareerBuilder.co.uk site and the jobs platforms of our local media brand sites attract a significant number of "active" jobseekers, the CareerBuilder UK network (including MSN & Yahoo) and the exposure we give to Featured Jobs across our news pages attract numerous "passive" jobseekers whose original intention may not have been to search for a job.

Consequently we can offer an additional and distinctly unique audience over our rivals and meet the additional needs of our clients who want to not only communicate with those out of work or actively seeking new opportunities but also those in work who would consider a move if the opportunity arose.

A massive 85% of CareerBuilder UK's users do not visit Monster, while 77% do not visit Jobsite and 71% do not visit Reed. For the full report and a full network list please contact Chris Cherry to request the CareerBuilder UK General Overview - May 2011.
