Wirral based national teaching school and School Direct training provider, Weatherhead TSA, are seeking Computer Science, Modern Languages and Physics graduates who are looking for a change of career, or intending to pursue a career in teaching.
Weatherhead have a number of places remaining for their School Direct teacher training programme starting September. The great news for any budding teacher out there is that the positions are salaried. Additional funding (up to £25,000) is also available via the Institute of Physics to support teacher training for Physics for applications before August 2nd.
A relatively new option for those seeking a career in teaching, School Direct teacher training is a school-led option that offers practical, hands-on training and education based in good schools. School Direct trainee teachers are part of a team from the very start, receiving intensive support from experienced teachers and mentors. Trainees also gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) through theoretical input from Liverpool John Moores University.
If you are a recent graduate or have 3 years industry experience relevant to computer science, modern languages or physics, and you are interested in a career in teaching then contact visit www.weatherheadtsa.co.uk for further details or email schooldirect@weatherheadhigh.co,uk.
