BIG-HEARTED children turned Santa this week to send gifts to girls and boys all over the world.
Pupils at Beechwood Primary School in Grasmere Drive, Runcorn, filled 116 shoeboxes full of toys, games and treats.
Teacher Laura McGee said: “The children and families in Beechwood have been working very hard to support this year’s Operation Christmas Child campaign.
“The boxes will now be sent off to Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia, where they will be opened on Christmas morning.”
Children teamed up with Beechwood Church and Pre School to collect the festive donations.
