Katie Melua has made a remarkable comeback to Radio Clatterbridge's annual Most Wanted chart - twelve months after disappearing from the list altogether.
The 23 year old singer's hit The Closest Thing To Crazy has been requested more than any other song in the last twelve months.
The track made the Top 30 in 2004 and 2005 but then vanished from last year's chart!
Robbie Williams' Angels, which has been number one for the last two years, slips to eighth in the 2007 list.
As we enter Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture, John Lennon makes a fitting entry at the top of the artists' chart. And, just months after the death of Luciano Pavarotti, the Italian tenor gets two posthumous entries in the countdown of this year's most requested classical pieces.
