Last weekend a somewhat frustrated and disjointed Caldy secured an important 27-17 win over Hull at Paton Field to keep up their winning record in National 2 North, but it wasn’t a performance that Caldy Head Coach Matt Cairns was entirely happy with.
In a gritty and tough encounter Caldy preserved their 100% record with a win over Hull but it was close as visiting Birkenhead Park legend John McNally acknowledged.
Unbeaten in National 2 North, league leaders Caldy take on Hull at Paton Field this Saturday with a 2.15pm kick off.
