BILL SMITH Aged 80 years. Of Eastham and for forty years Angus Road, Bromborough, died 4th June in hospital after a long illness. Beloved wife of Adrianne and devoted Dad to Karen, Andrew and Martin and daughters-in-law, Cathy and Sue; loving grandpa to Ellie, Josh and Isaac. Also cherished brother to May Crute (formerly of Lee Park, Gateacre) and Edna Wickstead, Mawdesley. Head of Engineering at Daresbury Laboratory, retired 1997. Grateful thanks to staff of AMU at Arrowe Park Hospital. Funeral service to be held at St. Andrew's Church, Bebington on 29th June at 12 o'clock followed by interment at Plymyard Cemetery.
