MARY JESSIE BERRY 7th February 2018 Aged 96 years Peacefully surrounded by her family. Reunited with her beloved husband Bobby. An adored mum of Pauline, Robert and David. Loving sister to Tony and Margaret. Adored nan to Tracy, Paula, Angie, Robbie, David, Suzie, Peter, Warren and Gemma. Adored great grandma to Rachael, Christian, Timothy, Michael, Isaac, Gabrielle, Darren, Richard, Jessica, Abbi, Liam, Paul, Robert, Jess, Amy, Ben, Steven, Victoria, Josh and Elliot. Great grandma to Cameron, Owen, Myles, Sophie, Carter, Ash, Grace, Summer, Archie, Milly, Sam, Franklin, Oliver, Harry and George. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. It broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best. They say that memories are golden, well maybe that is true. But we never wanted memories, we only wanted you. Your life was love and labour, your love for your family true. You did your best for all of us, we will always remember you. We sat beside your bedside, our hearts were crushed and sore. We did our duty to the end, 'til we could do no more. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away. And though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. Our lips cannot speak how we loved you, our hearts cannot tell what to say. But God only knows how we miss you, in our home that is lonely today. Many, many thanks to St George's Care Home for taking great care of Jessie, you did a wonderful job and for looking after the family too in her last hours. Funeral to take place at Landican North Chapel on Friday 16th February at 11.30am, followed by the interment. Family flowers only please but donations to Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully received c/o Griffiths Funeral Directors.
