JUNE VALERIE TRISTRAM 10.09.2017 Always affectionately known as Val to her family and friends. Former headmistress of Pilgrim Street School, Birkenhead, and subsequently until her retirement, headmistress of Black Horse Hill School, West Kirby. An active and leading member of Heswall Methodist Church until recent years. Val died peacefully aged 86, at Clevedon Court Nursing Home in North Somerset, her home for the past two years but formerly of Westerly, Raby Close, Heswall, Wirral. Dearly beloved sister of Donald and Hilary. Much loved aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to her 19 nieces and nephews. Family flowers only, with donations gratefully accepted in her memory to the charity 'Action for Children' c/o Keith C. Britton & Son, Funeral Directors, 10 High Street, Yatton. BS49 4JA.
