BUDDING superstars are being asked to audition for the annual charity 'Spotlight On Youth' show at the Floral Pavilion.

Wirral's brightest and best talented young people aged 19 and under are welcome to audition whether they're singers, comedians, poets, dancers or in a band.

Having been staged every year for more than 30 years, Spotlight On Youth will return to New Brighton on April 22, 2018 with auditions taking place on February 17, 2018.

All shows raise cash for the Mayor of Wirral's Special Charity Fund.

Mayor of Wirral Cllr Ann McLachlan said: "This annual event has showcased the talents of many local youngsters while raising thousands of pounds for the Mayor of Wirral’s Special Charity Fund, which supports local charities.

"This year I will be trying to raise as much money as I can for my two nominated charities which are, IncuBabies and Merseyside Autistic Children’s Society (MACS).

"We are looking for young musicians, singers, dancers, comedians, sketch-performers, bands and more, as wide a variety of entertainment acts as possible.

"Last year’s sell out show raised more than £3,000 from this one night event, so you will not only be taking part in a very enjoyable event, you will be raising money for charity."

Open auditions take place at the Civic Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey Town Hall, on Saturday, February 17 between 10am and 4pm.

If you are or you know anyone interested in taking part visit the Facebook page ‘Spotlight On Youth Wirral’ for more information.
