AN independent restaurant and bar in New Brighton will welcome TV presenter and actress Sheree Murphy to launch their new "cook-off" competition for charity.
Blackberry Grove will host the event on Thursday November 24 to raise funds for Autism Together and are inviting people to come along to join in with the fun.
Joanna Jones from Blackberry Grove said: "Sheree and I have been friends for years.
"She didn't hesitate when I asked, just said to let her know a date and time and she’d be there – I can't thank her enough.
"We recently celebrated being open for a year and I wanted to do something special to mark the occasion.
"I do a variety of charity work, but my niece has autism so it’s something that is very close to my heart.
"At first, I was going to do one event, but then I thought about how we could raise even more money for the charity so thought we could do one every month."
